Amsterdam

Mercatorplein, Berlage, Amsterdamse school, Baarsjes, Jordaan, Kinkerbuurt, Ten Kate markt, Ruigoord, Kennemerduinen

I live in Amsterdam-West on the edge of the Jordaan. After all my wanderings, I decided to choose my new home in this city - mainly because of its international and liberal character. I cycle to the cozy Ten Cate market in the Kinkerbuurt, within 5 minutes in the Vondelpark or on the Leidseplein. A little further lies the Westerpark or the Amsterdamse Bos. I used to live in the Baarsjes near the Mercatorplein, where there are fewer tourists, who now have to stow this city in large numbers. In the Rembrandtpark you can play good and free sports in the summer without the hustle and bustle of the Vondelpark.

A little further away I can breathe fresh air in the Amsterdamse Bos or the Kennemerduinen, which you can do on a racing bike. On a summer's day I would like to make a detour to Ruigoord. In the North of Amsterdam there are also nice places for a terrace, such as the Noorderlicht-Café on the IJ, the café the space or relax in Noorderpark.

Plenty to discover in this vibrant city.
